Tobias Mayer Museum // Museum guide

The Tobias Mayer Museum in Marbach/Neckar presents its exhibition in two interconnected houses, the original house of birth and the directly attached new museum building. The two houses thematically separate the content of the exhibition. The museum guide provides an overview of the exhibited topics in both houses in the form of a 24 pages brochure. The birth house shows on one level, on the first floor, the history of the house and the life of Tobias Mayer, while his work itself and working stations are exhibited on the three levels in the new building. The texts on the flaps provide information about the content on the respective level in the museum. Die beiden Häuser trennen thematisch die Ausstellungsinhalte. Der Museumsguide gibt in Form einer 24-seitigen Broschüre einen Überblick über die ausgestellten Themen in beiden Häusern. Das Geburtshaus zeigt auf einer Ebene, im Erdgeschoss, die Geschichte des Hauses und das Leben des Tobias Mayers, während auf den drei Ebenen im Neubau das Werk und die Stationen Mayers ausgestellt sind. Die Texte auf den Klappen geben Auskunft über die Inhalte auf der jeweiligen Ebene im Museum.
