Professor Sybille Wohlfarth Hochschule für Kommunikation und Gestaltung, Stuttgart Topic of the seminar: Identity and Brand - an Investigation of the Community Weissach im Tal After a research and investigation phase lasting several weeks, the communication design students, individually or in teams, developed an idea and a concept for a project or medium for Weissach im Tal as part of a new image (corporate design). In doing so, it was important to the students to portray the personality of the community with its typical characteristics and activities. Five different approaches to the external presentation of the community were developed: a redesign of the logo, business stationery, an image campaign, a magazine, a city guide and a photo documentation. The designs were presented in an exhibition in the disused Rombold-Areal pottery factory in the heart of Weissach im Tal in the presence of Mayor Ian Schölzel, Head of Office Wolfram Hartmann, the town hall staff, the town council and the press.
